Payments Policy
When you buy something on aurian.co.uk, this Billing Policy tells you how payments, bills, and charges are handled. When you place an order, you agree to the terms below.
Ways to Pay
Shopify Payments handles all payments on our site safely, with encryption and compliance with PCI DSS standards.
We accept these forms of payment:
- Visa
- MasterCard
- American Express
- Maestro
- Pay with Apple
- Pay with Google
- Pay for your shopping
-
Shopify Payments accepts other debit and credit cards that are supported in your area.
We don't take cash, checks, or direct bank transfers that aren't through Shopify.
Permission to Pay
When you place an order, your payment method is approved and charged in British Pounds (£) right away.
By giving your payment information, you agree that you have permission to use the chosen method and that all the information you give is correct and complete.
If payment authorization fails or there are signs of fraud, Aurian has the right to refuse or cancel any order.
Money and Prices
Prices are in GBP (£) and include any taxes that may apply in the UK.
Your bank may charge you extra fees or change your money into a different currency if you buy something from outside the UK.
Aurian is not responsible for these costs.
Confirming Your Order and Payment Information
You will get an Order Confirmation Email after you buy something. This email will summarize the details of your transaction, such as the total amount charged, the billing address, and the payment method used.
Please read all of the information carefully. If you see any problems, please email our support team at support@aurian.co.uk right away.
What you need for the billing address
The address on your bill and the address on the payment method you chose must be the same.
If you don't give the right billing information, your order could be delayed, turned down, or canceled because of security checks.
Safety of Transactions
SSL encrypts all transactions and they all meet PCI DSS security standards.
Aurian does not store full credit card numbers on its servers.
Shopify Payments, the company that processes our payments, protects all of your private information to keep fraud and unauthorized access from happening.
Stopping fraud and checking orders
Aurian can review, hold, or cancel orders if they see any strange behavior, like the following:
- The addresses for billing and shipping don't match.
- Repeated attempts to pay that don't work
- A lot of money's worth of orders that need to be checked
In these cases, our team may contact you to confirm more information before moving forward.
Payments that didn't go through or were denied
If your payment doesn't go through or is denied, your order won't be processed.
You may need to call the company that issued your card or find another way to pay.
Aurian is not responsible for bank fees, overdraft fees, or transactions that don't go through because there isn't enough money in the account or because the card has limits.
Extra fees or transactions that happen twice
Please email support@aurian.co.uk within 7 days of the transaction if you were charged too much or made a payment twice.
After we confirm the problem, we will refund any wrong charges to the same payment method you used to make the purchase.
Taxes and Fees
Unless otherwise stated, the price of the product shown includes all UK taxes, such as VAT.
If you order from another country, your local government may charge you customs duties or import taxes. The customer has to pay these fees.
Refunds and Reversals
If you need a refund, it will be sent to the same payment method you used to check out.
After the refund has been approved, your bank may take up to seven business days to process and post it.
Please see our Return & Refund Policy for all the information.
Problems with payments
Please get in touch with our support team before starting a chargeback if you think a charge was made by mistake.
We want to quickly and fairly fix any problems with billing.
Disputes that aren't authorized and don't happen before contacting us may take longer to resolve or make you ineligible for future purchases.
Updates to the billing policy
Aurian can change this Billing Policy at any time to reflect changes in payment providers, rules, or how the company does business.
Changes will happen right away after they are posted on our website. We ask that customers check this page from time to time.
